Valentine Cookies: Icings with Personality

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you treat yourself or the one you love with a great evening of appreciation for all the good things in your life. Time to remember what Love is really about.

Well, for today I used a basic Butter Cookie recipe but added some Almond extract for that extra something flavor. For my icings, I made basic icing with milk and added Cinnamon extract for red icing and Jasmine and Vanilla extract for the pink. Sexy and Beautiful.

Know that you are Loved today no matter your past, your mistakes, your crazies, your doubts...no matter what...YOU are Loved. I know I am loved most by my God and by my husband. Have a great Tuesday!

Sonnet 116
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
