Oklahoma Joe's BBQ...Kansas City Does it Right!

My sisters are fans of this place. My parents make a trip to this place each time they visit the States. I finally had lunch with my husband here...Oklahoma Joe's BBQ.

There's definitely something magical about Kansas City BBQ sauce and if you ever drive through this town make sure you stop by and get a taste. Personally speaking, I have always preferred KC sauce to the mustard based sauces. Molasses for me, please!

    Hello there! I found your blog while looking for a recipe for Almond Poppy Seed cake. Luck would have it you mentioned my favorite BBQ place-Okie Joes-so I KNOW you must be cool. If you are actually from this area, you should try their original location because it's just too cool that a place that yummy can be in a gas station! Anyway, thought I'd mention it. While you're there get a Z-Man sandwich; it's the bestest.Love your blog.
